The call you can't take
still gets answered.

Your number already texts back the people who hang up. This one goes further — it picks up. Answers in your business's name, answers the questions you get asked every week, and books the job while you're still under a sink.

A recent afternoon

Your mobile rang 20s — no answer

Picked up by your receptionist · 4:12

Ridgeline Plumbing, this call's recorded — what can I help you with?

Receptionist · 4:12

Hot water's gone. Do you cover Langley?

4:13

We do. Dave can be out tomorrow morning, or Thursday afternoon. Which suits?

Receptionist · 4:13

No hot water — 8–10am Friday

Booked · 4:14

You never heard it ring. The job was in the diary before you got back to the truck.

Why it works

They rang because they wanted to talk.

The text-back is good, and it saves calls that would otherwise be gone. But a fair number of people don't wait for it — they hang up and call the next name on the list, and you never know it happened.

Someone answering beats a text arriving

A text two minutes later reaches whoever is still holding their phone. Picking up on the second ring reaches everybody. The two work together — anyone who hangs up before the receptionist gets there still gets the text, exactly as they do now.

It knows your business, not just the script

It's built from your own website and from what you tell me: what you do, where you'll travel, your hours, whether you charge a call-out, and the jobs you don't take. It answers from that. Ask it something it hasn't been told and it says so and takes a message — it doesn't invent an answer.

It books, it doesn't just take a name

It reads the same calendar your booking page reads, so it offers slots that are actually free and puts the job in while the customer is still on the phone. You get the appointment, not a note asking you to call them back.

See it work

One call you'd have missed.

Tuesday afternoon, both hands busy. This is what happens instead of a voicemail. It runs on its own — or tap any step to go at your own pace.

Incoming call
Ringing Dave's mobile… 20s

Your phone rings first, always

Nothing changes about how you take calls. Your mobile rings for twenty seconds exactly as it does now. The receptionist only exists for the calls you don't get to.

You are never cut out of your own phone line.

How it runs

Four steps, about a week.

1

You tell me how you want it to answer

A short list: what it says when it picks up, your hours, how far you'll travel, whether there's a call-out charge, and the jobs you'd rather it turned down politely. Ten minutes on the phone covers it.

2

I build it from your own website

Your services, your areas and your prices where they're published come straight off the website I already built you. That's what it answers from, so it can't wander off and describe a business that isn't yours.

3

We test it before it goes anywhere near a customer

I call it, you call it, and you throw the awkward questions at it — the ones you actually get. Anything it gets wrong, I fix. Nothing goes live on your number until you've heard it yourself.

4

It goes on your number

Same number on your van, same number on Google, same inbox. The only difference is what happens after twenty seconds of ringing.

You can turn it off whenever you want. Text me and it's off inside the hour, and the missed-call text-back carries on as before. Slow week, holiday, or a stretch where you'd rather take everything yourself — it's your line.

Being straight about it

What it won't do.

This is the part most people selling AI phone answering leave out, so here it is first.

It won't pretend to be a person

If someone asks, it says it's the assistant and offers to put them through or take a message. Customers work it out anyway, and a business that got caught pretending looks far worse than one that just said so.

It won't quote a price on a job it can't see

Published call-out and standard rates, yes. What it'll cost to fix whatever is happening behind their wall, no — that gets booked as a look, not priced blind. A quote nobody can stand behind is worse than no quote.

It won't sit on an emergency

You give me the words that mean drop everything — flooding, no heat, gas, sparks, whatever they are in your trade. It hears one of those and transfers straight to your mobile instead of booking anything.

It won't chase anybody

Inbound only. It answers calls to your number and it never makes one. Nobody gets rung out of the blue by a machine with your name on it.

Every call is recorded and written up. The transcript and a plain-English summary land in your inbox next to the texts, so you can read exactly what was said. The greeting tells the caller the call is recorded, which is what keeps it clean.

Every call is recorded and written up. The transcript and a plain-English summary land in your inbox next to the texts, so you can read exactly what was said. The greeting tells the caller the call is recorded — some states need every party to be told, so it's announced on every call regardless of where you are.

What it costs

Monthly, added to your monthly.

$197 CAD per month · no setup fee

That covers building it, testing it, the calls it answers, and every transcript. There's no per-call charge and nothing to top up. It's monthly rather than one time because it's doing work every day, not one job once.

If your call volume is unusual, I'll tell you before you start, not after. A busy month is fine. A business fielding hundreds of calls a week is a different conversation and I'd rather have it up front than send you a surprise.

Billing starts when you sign up, not when it goes live — but nothing touches your phone line until you've heard it on a real call and told me you're happy. If you listen to it and decide against it, tell me and I'll refund the month rather than have you pay for something you didn't want. No contract, cancel by email, same as the website.

Or text (888) 240-2477, or email hello@everycall.co. Tell me your trade and roughly how many calls a week you get, and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth it for you.

A missed call rings somebody else's phone.

That's the whole thing. They don't leave a message and they don't wait — they go back to the search results and try the next one down. You never find out, so it never feels like it's costing you anything.

How it pays for itself: a plumber with an average job around $450 needs to recover roughly one call a month for this to wash its face. Your trade and your average job will be different, and after the first month you'll have the real number in front of you — every call it answered, and what came of them.
