Planting
in Port Moody
Right plant, right spot. We pick for your soil and light, not what's on sale at the nursery.
What this covers
Planting, done properly
The plant that dies in year two was usually wrong for the spot on the day it went in. Full-sun stock in a north-facing bed, or something that wants drainage sitting in Tri-Cities clay.
We pick for the light and the soil you actually have, and we'll tell you when the thing you saw on Instagram isn't going to make it in your yard.
- Planting plans for sun, shade and soil
- Trees, shrubs and perennial beds
- Soil amendment and mulching
- Native and drought-tolerant options
- Replacement of failed planting

How it works
No Surprises
Callum walks every property himself before we put a number in front of you, so the estimate you get reflects what's really there.
Callum walks the property
Every quote starts with a site visit. No estimates over the phone. Callum looks at grade, drainage, existing plants, and any problem areas before putting a number together.
You get a clear quote
Written scope, flat seasonal price for maintenance work, itemized for project work. No surprises when the invoice arrives.
We schedule you in
Maintenance clients are booked into a regular rotation before the season starts. Project work gets a start date confirmed in writing.
Consistent crew, all season
The same team handles your property. They know your yard, they know your preferences, and they don't need to relearn it every visit.

Questions
Planting: what people ask
How do you decide which plants are right for our yard?
We look at the light and the soil you actually have, not what happens to be available at the nursery that week. Full-sun stock in a north-facing bed or something that needs drainage sitting in Tri-Cities clay is the kind of mismatch that leads to a dead plant in year two.
Can you work with a specific plant we have in mind?
We'll always tell you honestly if something isn't going to work in your conditions. If the plant you have in mind is wrong for your soil or light, we'd rather say so and suggest something that will actually thrive.
Do you do the soil preparation as well, or just the planting itself?
Soil amendment and mulching are part of the work we do, because putting the right plant into unprepared soil is only half the job. What exactly is needed depends on your beds, so call or send us a message and we can talk through your yard.
