Questions
Bathroom & kitchen: what people ask
Can you work alongside our renovation contractor, or do you need to schedule separately?
We work alongside renovation contractors regularly and understand that trades need to stay on schedule when they're stacked up behind each other. Just let us know who you're working with and where you're in the project, and we'll coordinate accordingly.
What does a rough-in involve, and when in the renovation does it need to happen?
A rough-in is the stage where we run the supply and drain lines to where fixtures will eventually sit — it has to happen before the walls are closed in or anything is tiled. Getting the sequence right matters, so give us a call or send a message early in your planning and we can talk through the timing.
Can you install a fixture I've already purchased?
Yes, we install customer-supplied fixtures regularly — taps, toilets, showers, sinks, and similar items. If you want to check that what you have bought is compatible before we arrive, feel free to send us a message with the details.

The Rest of What We Do
Emergency plumbing
Burst pipes, frozen lines, and major leaks handled any day of the week, including weekends and after hours. The van is stocked with common parts, so most jobs are wrapped up on the first visit.
Read moreHot water tanks
Cold water and a failing tank usually come down to one part or a unit that's simply reached the end of its life. Honest diagnosis comes first — plenty of tanks only need a repair rather than a full swap-out.
Read moreDrains & sewer
Slow drains and full blockages cleared, with a camera inspection run afterward to find the actual cause. On older North Shore properties it's often roots, and seeing them on footage helps decide the right next step.
Read moreRepiping
Older galvanised and poly-B pipe eventually starts failing in ways that make patching the more expensive choice. Work is staged so you're never without water overnight, and everything is photographed before the walls close back up.
Read moreGas fitting
All gas work is carried out by a licensed gas fitter, pressure tested on completion, and permitted where required. Lines for ranges, dryers, fireplaces, and outdoor barbecues are straightforward jobs, but correct paperwork matters when it's time to sell.
