The Trade We Grew Up In
I’m Marcus. I started Northaxis Electric in 2005 and have been working in Burnaby and the surrounding area ever since.
I do panel upgrades, EV chargers, rewiring, lighting, troubleshooting and commercial. If you've got something that needs doing or a job you've been putting off, call me and we'll talk through what it actually needs.

Do I need a permit?
For anything involving the panel, new circuits or a service upgrade, yes. We pull it, book the inspection and hand you the sign-off — it's included in the quote, not extra.
How much is a panel upgrade?
Most 100A to 200A residential upgrades land in a fairly narrow range, but it depends on your meter base and where the panel sits. We'll give you a written number before anything starts.
Can you install an EV charger?
Yes, and we'll tell you honestly whether your current panel can take one. Sometimes it can't, and it's better to hear that before you buy the car.
Are your electricians certified?
Every one. Red Seal or working under direct supervision as a registered apprentice. Nobody uncertified works unsupervised on your house.
Do you do commercial?
Yes — tenant improvements, three-phase, and scheduled maintenance contracts. Ring and ask.
